In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. -Ephesians 1:7-8

I'm learning to be content...

You fearful saints, fresh courage take;
the clouds you so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
in blessings on your head.

His purposes will ripen fast,
unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
but sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err
and scan his work in vain:
God is his own interpreter,
and he will make it plain.

An Oldie but a goodie...it encouraged me so thought someone else might want to read it too.

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholy lean on Jesus name

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand

When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale,
my anchor holds within the veil

His oath, His covenant His blood,
support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
O may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
faultless to stand before the throne

Ansari people of India

Pray today for the 15, 171,00 Ansari people of India who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are classified by the Joshua Project as an unreached people group. There are few, if any, known believers. 98.77% of these people are Muslim. Pray that the Lord would break down the lies of legalism and idols of false religion and come to know the redemption of the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ bought for us on the cross. Some Bible portions are available in their language so pray that the Lord would send workers to bring the Word to them and share the good news.
